Fat in Translation aims to be a compendium of translations and adaptations of material on fat activism in both Spanish and English, although the doors are open to other languages as well. Its purpose is to give Spanish-speaking audiences access to texts that were originally written in English, as well as to spread the voice of Latin American and Spanish fat activists to a wider audience by translating them into English.
